Volume 2: Science
Who's who
Many of the researchers and academics referred to in this volume are treated in accordance with scientific convention and mentioned by surname only in the text, with details of their published work in the footnotes. However, a number of people, both scientists and others, are important to the BSE story in other ways: either they have submitted formal written or oral evidence to the Inquiry, or they appear in other volumes of the Report, or both. These people are mentioned in this Who's who, along with a short description of the post they held, or other relevant details, at the time they are mentioned in this volume. Other information on these individuals may be found in the comprehensive Who's who for all 16 volumes of the Report, which appears in vol. 16: Reference Material.
