Circularity in the use of the cattle carcass

4.6 The flow-chart overleaf shows many of the complex routes that parts of the cattle carcass take, often undergoing a series of production processes. The chart does not claim to be comprehensive, but gives an idea of the different ways in which a carcass could potentially find its way back to live cattle, as well as routes to human use, some less well known than others.
